| Michelle Ramirez, owner of Hands On Design, has a degree in graphic design and has worked in the print production and design industry for over 20 years. After taking several cake classes Michelle decided she enjoyed it enough that cake design was also something she could use as a creative outlet. With her graphic design expertise, Michelle's specialty is using your theme or invitation (or even a party plate) to create a perfectly coordinated cake for the occasion. Hand-illustration out of buttercream is another reason why Hands On Design cakes are so unique and one-of-a-kind.
Her right hand helpers are her children, Sophia and Lorenzo, mostly helping by being patient and self-sufficient at all the right times, but are also wonderful workers when they need to be. Alex Nouri, Michelle's significant other, has also learned alot about cake decorating and is becoming very proficient at that (as well as doing deliveries).
Having built a large list of repeat clients, most weekends can become completely booked up to 2-3 weeks in advance, so please plan accordingly. If there is any way Michelle can squeeze another cake into the schedule, she will do that, but that may not always be possible. Use the contact us
